With over twenty years devoted to her interior design career, Jennifer continues to be inspired by the process of creating beautiful interiors, a craft she is particularly well suited for.
Her education at Wayne State University, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in Interior Design, has sharpened her spatial acumen and sense of proportion. Her keen color sense and ability to combine the materials of her trade in unexpected yet subtle ways is a hallmark of her work. She finds nothing more rewarding than imagining the perfect end result, then making it a reality.
A Detroit Home award winner, Jennifer’s work has been featured in both local and national publications including the book Spectacular Homes of Michigan, American Bungalow, Detroit Home,and The Detroit Free Press’ Homestyle section.
MINJA BUCALO CASALOU
Minja’s resume includes a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Wayne State University in Detroit and a master’s degree in Architectural Interior Design from the Florence Institute of Design International In Florence, Italy, where her love of centuries old architecture, art and antiques took root.
She creates CAD drawings for our clients’ projects, including architectural floor plans and elevations, electrical drawings and specifications and 3D renderings. She designs custom furniture, cabinetry and millwork, and specifies project materials and finishes.
Minja explains her many talents by crediting her family for her DNA. She embodies the work ethic of her father, an electrician, the creativity and fearless fashion sense of her mother, a fashion designer and the technical acumen of her grandfathers, both civil engineers. Her respect for her family and her Yugoslavian ancestry weaves a golden thread through Minja’s personal story.
